Eitan Gertel
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gertel brings over fifteen years of experience in broadband microwave and fiber optic systems including his most recent position as founder and Vice President/General Manager of JDS Uniphase's TSD Division in Chalfont, PA from 1995 to 2001. In this position, Mr. Gertel had full P&L responsibility for this sub-system division as it transitioned from start-up status to a multi-hundred-million-dollar operation. In addition to serving as Optium's President and CEO, he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Gertel earned a BSEE from Drexel University.

Christopher Brown
General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development
Prior to joining Optium, Mr. Brown was a partner at the law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP from January 2005 to August 2006.  He was also a partner at the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery from January 2003 to January 2005 and an associate from March 2000 to January 2003. Mr. Brown holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.

Mark Colyar
Senior Vice President of Engineering and General Manager of Optium US
Previously Mr. Colyar was with the TSD Division of JDS Uniphase where he had a variety of leadership roles including CATV Product Line Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Engineering, and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Colyar has fifteen years experience in design and project engineering with an emphasis on IR detection systems and broadband fiber-optic systems, initially with Systems Engineering Technology International and then as a Section Head for AEL's Fiber Optic Transmitter group. Mr. Colyar graduated from Drexel with a BSEE.

Anthony Musto
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mr. Musto brings over fifteen years experience in high-speed electronics and fiber optics from his employment with Microwave Semiconductor Corp, Optimax, and AEL Defense Corporation. He has worked both as a development engineer and in a variety of sales and marketing roles. Mr. Musto was the Director of Business Development at Sarnoff Corporation where he was responsible for the optical, microwave, and computing areas. Prior to joining Optium, he was the Director of Marketing for JDS Uniphase's TSD division that included CATV and OC-192 datacom products. Mr. Musto received a BSEE from Penn State.

David Renner
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Renner is responsible for all areas of Accounting, Finance, IT, and Materials Management. Prior to joining Optium, he held various leadership positions at JDS Uniphase including Director of Finance and Administration and Controller at the TSD Division. Mr. Renner also served as the Corporate Accounting Manager, where he was involved in numerous public offerings and acquisitions. Most recently, he created the shared services organization for JDS Uniphase. With his extensive computer systems experience, he has also provided IT solutions to better manage business operations. Mr. Renner received a BA in Business Finance from the University of San Diego.
