Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will direct the company quality activities and assure customer requirements are met or exceeded.

• ISO/TL Accreditation
• In conjunction with Senior Management, create and support a company quality culture appropriate for the company’s activities
• Obtain and maintain ISO/TL certification, schedule and run annual ISO/TL recertification audits, as well as customer audits as necessary.
• Responsible for quarterly ISO/TL management reviews
• Maintain the quality manual and the quality management system
• Product Quality
• Establish policies and procedures for maintaining an effective quality control program
• Implement and manage the product quality processes by ensuring the integration of quality control services throughout the company.
• Conduct quality control training of employees handling materials
• Maintain proper documents and reports of product testing. Prepare quality records in compliance with procedures
• Monitor production of materials to meet quality specifications and standards
• Supervise quality inspectors to ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures
• Direct quality control program and ensure quality control problems are identified and resolved
• Investigate product quality problems and recommend changes or improvements
• Control testing equipment as required ensuring accuracy.
• Customer and RMA Issues
• Customer interface on all RMA issues; maintain RMA database; implement corrective actions based on field returns and customer input.
• Implement and maintain internal SCAR and CAR system

• Relevant Degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of six (6) years experience in high technology industry required.
• Must have prior ISO/TL certification experience
• Familiarity with the Telecommunications equipment manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in introducing ISO/TL systems is preferred
