General Purpose
The Stores Person is part of the Materials team, reporting to the Materials Manager and has the responsibilities of: Receiving all incoming goods, maintaining control of materials inventory, issuing materials to production from stores, and packing and shipping finished products.
Essential Functions
- Receive deliveries of materials and suppliers
- Process delivery documents and enter details on ERP system
- Maintain clear labeling of materials with batch, part, and revision identity
- Allocate batches to incoming materials using the MES system
- Maintain accuracy of inventory counts
- Participate in stock tasks and regular cycle counting
- Pick parts and or kits and issue to production using the ERP system.
- Pick and pack finished products for shipment
- Maintain shipping documentation records.
- Perform tasks efficiently so to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Perform duties as requested by management
Qualifications
- Completed year 12 education
- 3 to 4 years experience in stores or materials planning within a manufacturing organization
- Physically able to perform manual handling duties when required
- The right to work in Australia
