General Purpose


The Stores Person is part of the Materials team, reporting to the Materials Manager and has the responsibilities of: Receiving all incoming goods, maintaining control of materials inventory, issuing materials to production from stores, and packing and shipping finished products.

Essential Functions

  • Receive deliveries of materials and suppliers
  • Process delivery documents and enter details on ERP system
  • Maintain clear labeling of materials with batch, part, and revision identity
  • Allocate batches to incoming materials using the MES system
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory counts
  • Participate in stock tasks and regular cycle counting
  • Pick parts and or kits and issue to production using the ERP system.
  • Pick and pack finished products for shipment
  • Maintain shipping documentation records.
  • Perform tasks efficiently so to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform duties as requested by management


Qualifications

  • Completed year 12 education
  • 3 to 4 years experience in stores or materials planning within a manufacturing organization
  • Physically able to perform manual handling duties when required
  • The right to work in Australia
