You will be joining an experienced team of electronics, mechanical, optical and software engineers designing revolutionary switching technologies for optical telecommunications.
Optium Australia is building next generation optical telecommunications products in Sydney. This engineering position will give you the opportunity to further develop your design skills while working with a highly skilled team of optical, electrical and software engineers.
Essential Functions
If you have:
• A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• Extensive experience with design and drawings of high-tech parts (preferably at least 5 years)
• Pro-Engineer 3D CAD experience (or similar).
An understanding of optics, thermal design, and the principles of designing for manufacturing would be an advantage.
