Small Form Factor 10Gb/s 300 PIN Transponders
Optium leads the industry with the most complete product line of Small Form Factor (SFF) 10Gb/s transponders, which includes VSR, SR, IR, and LR. The products are offered with a wide range of features including DWDM and TDM variants.

Full Band Tunable Transponders
The Full Band Tunable transponder offers customers many advantages ranging from very low power consumption to high optical output levels. These transponders are capable of tuning over 80+ DWDM channels at 50GHz spacing in either the C or L bands. The products provide leading transmit eye quality and receiver OSNR performance.

Extended Reach 300 PIN Transponders
Optium’s tunable transponder platform supports Duo-Binary, NRZ, RZ, and ODC (Optical Dispersion Compensation) products for extended reach applications. All of the products share a common mechanical footprint and electrical interface, making them fully interchangeable on the line card.

XFP Pluggable 10Gb/s Transponders
This cost efficient product line provides pluggablity while maintaining performance comparable to 300 PIN MSA modules. Optium offers a complete line of XFP products operating at 1310 and 1550nm with reaches extending out to 80km. The Optium XFP supports Ethernet, SDH, and SONET transport for both TDM and DWDM applications.

40Gb/s 300 PIN Transponders
Optium offers the industry’s most advanced 40Gb/s 300 PIN transponders addressing both line side and client side applications. Optium’s 40Gb/s technology enables high performance and next generation functionality, such as integrated PMD (polarization mode dispersion) compensation and multiple modulation formats. 

ROADM
Optium’s reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) enables dynamic wavelength processing through the proprietary use of liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) technology and provides next generation functionality through variations in embedded software.

CATV
The Cable Television (CATV) line offers a wide range of custom products that provide transmission solutions in node and head-end configurations for distribution, broadcast and FTTH applications. Optium can provide rack, custom plug-in or board level solutions.

RF-Over-Fiber
Optium’s RF-Over-Fiber solutions replace RF cable with low loss fiber optic cable. The transmitters and receivers from Optium provide cost effective replacements to current coax solutions. The products can be configured into ultra-wide, high-dynamic range links.
